We as a church family will be reading through the entire Bible in a Year!
God put on our hearts to dive deeper into God's word in 2025 as one body, so we put together this reading plan for all of us to go through individually or with your family and friends.

Captivated Leadership Class
Hey Captivate family! If you’re a current leader, a brand new leader, or someone who’s simply curious about stepping into leadership—we’ve got something for you.
Our Captivate Leadership Class happens monthly on the first Wednesday of each month and it’s all about building meaningful connections, exploring the blessings and challenges of leading in community, and learning how to become a leader worth following.
We’ll start the night with dinner at 5:45 PM in the Captivate Hall, then head over to the Captivate Conference Room in the offices right behind the parking lot to begin class at 6:30 PM, yummy treats included!
This is a space for growing together, learning together, and stepping into all that God is calling you to. We’d love to see you there!

Youth JHS 8am + 11:30am Sunday Service
Every week our Youth Junior High Students have a special Sunday Service crafted just for them!
At both the 8am + 11:30am services at Captivate Point Loma, you can expect a time of powerful worship, an engaging message, and fun with fellow students.
Be sure to join us every week as your student won't want to miss it!

AWANA Spring Season Launch
Awana Club has been equipping children with Biblical truth since 1941. We feel beyond thankful to continue this legacy within the walls of our church. Registering your child for Captivate Awana means inviting them week after week into an entire evening dedicated to developing their foundational understanding of the Living Word.

Captivate Academy Takeover
This week we bring Captivate Academy to you!
If you didn't know, Captivate has an Academy and we are heading into year 5!
Captivate Academy exists to develop students academically, while also raising warriors for Christ. At Captivate Academy we exist to partner with parents in fostering a truly unique educational experience where children can develop their academic and spiritual growth from a biblical perspective. We aim to empower families, support parent- led decision making, and cultivate parent involvement in elementary education.

Girls just wanna have FUN! Grab your besties and join us for our Galentine's Bloom Night! Get ready for an evening of friendship, laughter and sisterhood as we enjoy delicious treats, shop local vendors, and party in our PJ's like it's 1999!

Daddy Daughter Dance
Don't miss the Brotherhood Daddy Daughter Dance on Friday, Feb 20.
This will be a royal ball for Dads and Princesses of all-ages both young & young at
heart complete with a red carpet, royal entrance for every daddy-daughter duo.
Dress accordingly & register by February 16 to ensure entrance.

Peru Missions Trip
Captivate is going to Lima, Peru!
Our Missions + Outreach team is fired up to be partnering with one of our partner churches in Lima, Peru to End Spiritual Loneliness beyond San Diego.
Space is limited! If you are interested in experiencing what the Missions field is like, we encourage you to consider this opportunity!

Greece & Rome Bible Tour
Captivate is going to Greece & Rome!
We are going on a bible tour to experience a part of Paul's life and see Acts 16-19 come to life. We'll also get to tour Rome, see the Colosseum, see the Catacombs, see where both Peter and Paul were martyred, and more!
