We as a church family will be reading through the entire Bible in a Year!
God put on our hearts to dive deeper into God's word in 2025 as one body, so we put together this reading plan for all of us to go through individually or with your family and friends.

Captivated Leadership Class
Hey Captivate family! If you’re a current leader, a brand new leader, or someone who’s simply curious about stepping into leadership—we’ve got something for you.
Our Captivate Leadership Class happens monthly on the first Wednesday of each month and it’s all about building meaningful connections, exploring the blessings and challenges of leading in community, and learning how to become a leader worth following.
We’ll start the night with dinner at 5:45 PM in the Captivate Hall, then head over to the Captivate Conference Room in the offices right behind the parking lot to begin class at 6:30 PM, yummy treats included!
This is a space for growing together, learning together, and stepping into all that God is calling you to. We’d love to see you there!

Youth JHS 9am + 11:15am Sunday Service
Every week our Youth Junior High Students have a special Sunday Service crafted just for them!
At both the 9am Captivate Point Loma East + 11:15am Captivate Point Loma West services, you can expect a time of powerful worship, an engaging message, and fun with fellow students.
Be sure to join us every week as your student won't want to miss it!

Captivated Life Class
Are you new to Captivate and ready to discover what it means to call Captivate your
church home? Join us on the first Sunday of the month for our Captivated Life Class,
a welcoming and engaging experience designed to help you learn the heart behind
our church.
In this class, you'll hear directly from our Lead Pastor, explore our vision, mission,
values, and culture, and gain a deeper understanding of what we believe and why
we do what we do. You'll also have the opportunity to discover the unique spiritual
gifts God has placed within you and learn how He has designed you to lead, serve,
love, and disciple others.
Whether you're new to Captivated or looking to take your next step in getting
connected, this class will help you grow in your faith, find your place in the church,
and step confidently into the calling God has for your life.

Captivate Summer Camps
As the summer season quickly approaches, Captivate is thrilled to announce that we will be launching our first ever season of Captivate Summer Camps! Our Summer Camp experiences will be open to children ages 3-9 years old throughout our community and will run continuously throughout the summer. Please see the below details on our Summer Camps!
Jul. 7 - Aug. 11
Bloom Summer Prayer Intensive
Join us for our second Annual Bloom Summer Prayer Intensive! This group will be meeting for six weeks on Tuesdays at 6:30 from 7/7 to 8/11. Each week we will be breaking up into discussion groups to go over discussion questions and then having a dedicated time specifically set aside for prayer. We are already so excited for how God is going to move in the lives of women and the church by having a dedicated prayer intensive. Be ready to witness miracles!

San Diego Rescue Mission: Connect Night
Captivate Family, Are you ready for another fun night at the Mission?!
The San Diego Rescue Mission is dedicated to restoring the lives of individuals and
families experiencing homelessness through meals, shelter, recovery programs,
education, and the hope of Christ.
Join us in serving at the San Diego Rescue Mission on Thursday, July 30, from
5:30–8:00 PM. You'll receive a behind-the-scenes tour to learn more about the
incredible work happening every day, then spend the evening connecting with
residents and families through games, conversation, and activities.
This hands-on outreach is all about building genuine relationships while serving our
community in practical ways. It's a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Christ
through simple acts of kindness, encouragement, and presence. We can't wait to
serve alongside you!

If you've got a heart to invest in the next generation—to disciple, encourage,
and help create a place where young adults can encounter Jesus—we'd love to
invite you to our Leader Interest Night on August 6. Whether you're a young adult or
just passionate about pouring into them, this night is for you!

Whether God is calling you into vocational ministry or simply to faithfully shepherd
the people He's placed in your life, Lay Pastor Training is designed to equip you.
Through biblical teaching, spiritual formation, and practical ministry experience, you'll
grow in your ability to care for others, understand Scripture, pray with confidence,

Join us for the BLOOM Clothing Swap on August 18th — a fun summer night of fashion, fellowship, and giving back! Bring your gently loved clothes to swap styles, refresh your wardrobe, and connect with other BLOOM women.
We’ll have shopping, sweet community, and all the sustainable girl vibes while supporting an incredible cause. All proceeds from the night will go to our partner organization, Olive Crest- helping children and families in need throughout our community.

We are fired up to tell you that Captivate Young Adults is re-launching this fall and
we believe God's going to do something really special in this next season! mark your calendar for our Young Adults Bonfire
on August 20. It's the perfect chance to meet people, hear the vision, and be part of
what God is building!

Bloom Leader Vision Night
Have you ever felt God stirring your heart to lead, encourage, and invest in other
women? Join us for Bloom Women Leader Vision Night, where you'll discover what it
means to become a Bloom Leader and explore the many ways you can make an
eternal impact through mentoring, leading a Bloom Huddle, or serving on our Events
Team or our Abundant Life Team.
We'll share the heart, vision, and commitment behind each leadership opportunity,
answer your questions, and walk you through the next steps of joining the Bloom
leadership family. If you're ready to grow, serve, and help cultivate a community
where women can flourish in their faith, we'd love to see you there!

Communities Takeover
This week we focus on Communities!
What Are Communities? Communities are how we do small groups here at Captivate. Communities are where people gather to connect, grow in faith, and support one another through prayer and Bible study. It's a great way to build lasting friendships and deepen your walk with God in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
There are a variety of communities at Captivate—Men, Women, COED, Family & Marrieds, Hobbies & Ventures—and we would love for you to join a group and find your people!

Brotherhood Golf Tournament
The mission of Brotherhood is to empower men through encouragement, support, and purpose-driven living, within a spirit of Brotherhood and service. Our vision is to see transformed lives that ripples into stronger families, healthier marriages, engaged fatherhood, and a flourishing faith community. The purpose of this golf tournament is to fund and sustain programs that equip men to lead with integrity, compassion, and accountability. This is golf with a purpose.
Oct. 23 - 30 (Cutoff June 10)
Peru Missions Trip
Captivate San Diego will be going to Lima, Peru and partnering with our sister church in the Waters Edge network, Iglesia del Reino. We will partner with Inglesia del Reino, located in Miraflores, which is in a vibrant and modern area of Lima. We hope to serve with their youth night on Saturday,, serve at church on Sunday, help with projects around their church building and go with their team and do street evangelism, We will partner and serve at several churches in Comas (one of the poorest areas in Lima) through feeding outreach, children’s ministry outreaches, home visits, and serve alongside Su Refugio, another ministry we are connected with.. We hope to come alongside other ministries in Lima who serve those who are struggling in some capacity and love them with the love of Jesus and share the message of hope that we carry.

Brotherhood Men's Advance
Join Us for the 2nd Annual Brotherhood Men's Advance!
We are so excited and expectant—God is calling men from churches all across California to gather on the mountain at Palomar Christian Conference Center for our 2nd Annual Brotherhood Men's Advance! This is more than just a weekend away. It's an intimate, powerful invitation to pursue the presence of Jesus together. Expect life-changing encounters through passionate worship, impactful teaching from God's Word, extended times of prayer, meaningful breakout sessions, fireside hangouts, and so much more. Every moment is designed to draw you closer to Christ, renew your strength, and equip you with fresh fire to bring into your home, work, and community.
(And yes—meals will be excellent, fueling your body while we feed our souls!)
Men from all walks of life will be ascending the mountain ready to press in. Once you secure your spot, you'll get a confirmation email with all the details to prepare, so you can arrive focused and expectant. We can't wait to see you there.
