We as a church family will be reading through the entire Bible in a Year!
God put on our hearts to dive deeper into God's word in 2025 as one body, so we put together this reading plan for all of us to go through individually or with your family and friends.

Youth JHS 9am + 11:15am Sunday Service
Every week our Youth Junior High Students have a special Sunday Service crafted just for them!
At both the 9am Captivate Point Loma East + 11:15am Captivate Point Loma West services, you can expect a time of powerful worship, an engaging message, and fun with fellow students.

Captivated Life Class
Are you new to Captivate and ready to discover what it means to call Captivate your church home? Join us on the first Sunday of the month for our Captivated Life Class, a welcoming and engaging experience designed to help you learn the heart behind our church.
In this class, you'll hear directly from our Lead Pastor, explore our vision, mission, values, and culture, and gain a deeper understanding of what we believe and why we do what we do. You'll also have the opportunity to discover the unique spiritual gifts God has placed within you and learn how He has designed you to lead, serve, love, and disciple others.
Whether you're new to Captivated or looking to take your next step in getting connected, this class will help you grow in your faith, find your place in the church, and step confidently into the calling God has for your life. Lunch is provided, please register to let us know you're coming!

Awana Kids! Captivate Awana is relaunching this Fall. Join us Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM for an exciting evening of fun games, engaging Large Group time, Scripture memorization, and building lasting friendships. Sign up your kids for the next season today!

Verse Chili Cook-Off! We'll enjoy delicious homemade chili, great fellowship, and a
little friendly competition as we crown this year's Chili Cook-Off champion. It's the
perfect opportunity to laugh, connect with others, and enjoy a cozy evening together

Young Adults Relaunch
Young Adults is BACK—and we’re stepping into a brand-new season together. Our vision is to equip and empower young adults to live lives led by Jesus, creating a community where you can encounter God, grow as a disciple, and find a place to belong. This fall, we’re building new rhythms designed to help make that happen, including a weekly Young Adults Service—launching September 13 at 7PM—centered on worship, teaching, and encountering Jesus, along with monthly Family Dinners—beginning September 17—where we can slow down, share a meal, and build meaningful relationships around the table. More than a service or an event, we want Young Adults to be a community where you can be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and live sent into the world around you. There’s a place for you here!

This week we focus on Communities!
What Are Communities? Communities are how we do small groups here at Captivate. Communities are where people gather to connect, grow in faith, and support one another through prayer and Bible study. It's a great way to build lasting friendships and deepen your walk with God in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
There are a variety of communities at Captivate—Men, Women, COED, Family & Marrieds, Hobbies & Ventures—and we would love for you to join a group and find your people!

Young Professionals Relaunch
YP is BACK! Young Professionals is a coed group of believers seeking authentic, Christ-centered community. Finding others in a similar stage of life that are intentional about their faith can be challenging, and we’d like to make it a little bit easier. Join us every Monday at 6:30p for an intentional time of diving deeper into God's word through small groups and more!

Bloom Huddles Relaunch
Bloom huddles is BACK! Our huddle groups are like communities, but is one large group that breaks up into smaller ‘huddles'. It’s never full, and there is always room for you! Kicking off this fall we will gather every Tuesday at 6:30pm, at our Point Loma West location. Please use the link below, select "Tuesday" and pick any open Huddles group to sign up.

Brotherhood Golf Tournament
The mission of Brotherhood is to empower men through encouragement, support, and purpose-driven living, within a spirit of Brotherhood and service. Our vision is to see transformed lives that ripples into stronger families, healthier marriages, engaged fatherhood, and a flourishing faith community. The purpose of this golf tournament is to fund and sustain programs that equip men to lead with integrity, compassion, and accountability. This is golf with a purpose.

Serve the City
Serve the City is a one day event where we are partnering with nonprofits across San Diego to lift up the hurting in our city. We will be painting, cleaning, building, washing, feeding, playing, laughing and ultimately serving our city in the hopes of showing the love of Jesus and letting our city know that we love them and we are here to serve them.

Night of Remembrance
Join us for Night of Remembrance, a hope-filled evening honoring those who have experienced miscarriage, infant loss, infertility, and other forms of reproductive grief. Whether you're walking this journey yourself or want to better support someone you love, you are welcome here.
At Bloom Women, we believe no woman should carry grief alone. Through heartfelt worship, stories of hope, and intentional spaces for reflection and prayer, we'll gather to remind one another that Jesus meets us in our pain and healing is found in His presence. While reproductive grief can take many forms, this night is about one simple truth: you are seen, you are loved, and you do not have to walk this road alone.
Oct. 23 - 30 (Cutoff June 10)
Peru Missions Trip
Captivate San Diego will be going to Lima, Peru and partnering with our sister church in the Waters Edge network, Iglesia del Reino. We will partner with Inglesia del Reino, located in Miraflores, which is in a vibrant and modern area of Lima. We hope to serve with their youth night on Saturday,, serve at church on Sunday, help with projects around their church building and go with their team and do street evangelism, We will partner and serve at several churches in Comas (one of the poorest areas in Lima) through feeding outreach, children’s ministry outreaches, home visits, and serve alongside Su Refugio, another ministry we are connected with.. We hope to come alongside other ministries in Lima who serve those who are struggling in some capacity and love them with the love of Jesus and share the message of hope that we carry.

Brotherhood Men's Advance
Join Us for the 2nd Annual Brotherhood Men's Advance!
We are so excited and expectant—God is calling men from churches all across California to gather on the mountain at Palomar Christian Conference Center for our 2nd Annual Brotherhood Men's Advance! This is more than just a weekend away. It's an intimate, powerful invitation to pursue the presence of Jesus together. Expect life-changing encounters through passionate worship, impactful teaching from God's Word, extended times of prayer, meaningful breakout sessions, fireside hangouts, and so much more. Every moment is designed to draw you closer to Christ, renew your strength, and equip you with fresh fire to bring into your home, work, and community.
(And yes—meals will be excellent, fueling your body while we feed our souls!)
Men from all walks of life will be ascending the mountain ready to press in. Once you secure your spot, you'll get a confirmation email with all the details to prepare, so you can arrive focused and expectant. We can't wait to see you there.
