We as a church family will be reading through the entire Bible in a Year!
God put on our hearts to dive deeper into God's word in 2025 as one body, so we put together this reading plan for all of us to go through individually or with your family and friends.

Youth JHS 9am + 11:15am Sunday Service
Every week our Youth Junior High Students have a special Sunday Service crafted just for them!
At both the 9am Captivate Point Loma East + 11:15am Captivate Point Loma West services, you can expect a time of powerful worship, an engaging message, and fun with fellow students.

Captivated Life Class - Oct. 4 (Monthly)
Are you new to Captivate and ready to discover what it means to call Captivate your church home? Join us on the first Sunday of the month for our Captivated Life Class, a welcoming and engaging experience designed to help you learn the heart behind our church.
In this class, you'll hear directly from our Lead Pastor, explore our vision, mission, values, and culture, and gain a deeper understanding of what we believe and why we do what we do. You'll also have the opportunity to discover the unique spiritual gifts God has placed within you and learn how He has designed you to lead, serve, love, and disciple others.
Whether you're new to Captivated or looking to take your next step in getting connected, this class will help you grow in your faith, find your place in the church, and step confidently into the calling God has for your life. Lunch is provided, please register to let us know you're coming!

Captivate Downtown - Heaven Come Launch
Heaven Come is here.
Join us for the first night of a new chapter for Captivate Downtown—a monthly gathering with an intentional focus on evangelism, encounter, and inviting our city to experience Jesus.
Come early for the pre-party, bring someone with you, and join us for a powerful night of worship, the Gospel, prayer, salvation, baptism, and opportunities to take a next step of faith.
An encounter with Jesus and an invite into something new.

Serve the City
Serve the City is a one day event where we are partnering with nonprofits across San Diego to lift up the hurting in our city. We will be painting, cleaning, building, washing, feeding, playing, laughing and ultimately serving our city in the hopes of showing the love of Jesus and letting our city know that we love them and we are here to serve them.

Night of Remembrance
Join us for Night of Remembrance, a hope-filled evening honoring those who have experienced miscarriage, infant loss, infertility, and other forms of reproductive grief. Whether you're walking this journey yourself or want to better support someone you love, you are welcome here.
At Bloom Women, we believe no woman should carry grief alone. Through heartfelt worship, stories of hope, and intentional spaces for reflection and prayer, we'll gather to remind one another that Jesus meets us in our pain and healing is found in His presence. While reproductive grief can take many forms, this night is about one simple truth: you are seen, you are loved, and you do not have to walk this road alone.
Oct. 23 - 30 (Cutoff June 10)
Peru Missions Trip
Captivate San Diego will be going to Lima, Peru and partnering with our sister church in the Waters Edge network, Iglesia del Reino. We will partner with Inglesia del Reino, located in Miraflores, which is in a vibrant and modern area of Lima. We hope to serve with their youth night on Saturday,, serve at church on Sunday, help with projects around their church building and go with their team and do street evangelism, We will partner and serve at several churches in Comas (one of the poorest areas in Lima) through feeding outreach, children’s ministry outreaches, home visits, and serve alongside Su Refugio, another ministry we are connected with.. We hope to come alongside other ministries in Lima who serve those who are struggling in some capacity and love them with the love of Jesus and share the message of hope that we carry.

Young Professionals Gulls Game
We are so stoked to have some sweet time of fellowship outside of our regularly
scheduled program to support our local NHL team the San Diego Gulls for their very
first faith and family night! AND after the game we’re invited to a live panel with a
local Pastor, Gulls team captain, and a surprise player speaking about their faith!

Youth 116 Night
116 Night is back! We’re inviting all middle and high school students and youth
leaders to join us for an unforgettable night together!
Expect a powerful night of worship, a special guest speaker, Kona Ice, giveaways,
and more as we’re challenged to remain faithful, live boldly, and be unashamed of
the Gospel. We believe the Gospel still has the power to transform lives!

San Diego Rescue Mission Harvest Party
Church family, As many of you have been asking about other ways to get involved
with Missions & Outreach outside of Serve the City. We have the answer and want to
invite you to participate in our last outreach of the year with San Diego Rescue
Mission. We are throwing a Harvest Party for them! You wont want to miss the
opportunity to have fun, engage, and bless their residents. We did the planning and
all you have to do is show up for the fun! San Diego Rescue Mission’s one-year livein program helps individuals experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives through
stable housing, personal growth, job readiness, life skills, and supportive community
so they can move toward lasting independence.

Young Professionals Worship Night
A night to be refocus our attention and recenter our hearts on the only One who has the power to bring life to dead things, redeem any relationship or situation and change everything with one encounter, Jesus Christ. There will be opportunities for prayer and a short encouragement.

Your Story, His Glory Workshop
Have you ever wondered how to share your testimony in a way that points people to
Jesus? Our Lay Pastor Team wants to invite you to Your Story, His Glory, a practical
workshop here at Point Loma West on November 7th from 9am-12pm. It is
designed to help you discover, organize, and confidently share your faith story for
God's glory.
Whether you've been following Jesus for years or are just learning how to talk about
your faith, this workshop will equip and encourage you to share what God has done
in your life.
The cost is just $10, which includes a workbook and all workshop materials.

Brotherhood Men's Advance
