The 7 Hour Walk: Connect | Weston Stutz

This Sunday we concluded our series, “The 7 Hour Walk” by jumping into “Corner” as the Captivate cultural practice of taking our faith outside the church building and into the world, neighborhood, office, and relationships God has placed us in.
If we’re honest, sharing Jesus with those outside the church can be a challenge. Sometimes we feel the pressure of needing to have the right answers or not wanting to hassle people with our faith. No one wants to feel like a salesman. But is that how Jesus shared the Gospel?

Have you ever wondered, “How would Jesus evangelize?” Well in Luke 24 the very first thing Jesus does after he defeats death through the resurrection is just that… He witnessed, and therefore showed us how to do it. He did not hassle anyone but rather he drew near to where people were, he cared about their pain, he walked more than he talked, and he didn’t force it.

He went all the way with people. We unpacked this in a message called, “Witness Like Jesus Did”.
