Reproductive Grief
What is Reproductive Grief?
Reproductive grief is often accompanied by tremendous pain after experiencing miscarriage, abortion, early infant death, premature birth, infertility, still birth, or special needs diagnosis.
This type of grief is often held in silence with
little support, as it is not widely recognized
as significant.
Reproductive Grief Group
This group is a safe space to navigate the difficult waves of emotions associated with reproductive grief. A supportive environment with those who understand, and seek hope and comfort through God's love.
Strong Families - Olive Crest
STRONG FAMILIES, SAFE KIDS
As of March 2023 we are so excited to announce our partnership with Strong Families - Olive Crest. Strong Families program provides short-term hostings to children whose parents are experiencing crises. These crisis might include homelessness, hospitalization, or domestic violence to name a few.
Imagine being in a crisis and not having anyone to call or rely on. This is the reality for many single women and their children in San Diego. We have decided to step into caring for these vulnerable families with Strong Families, an unprecedented movement of compassion designed to reduce child abuse and prevent children from entering into the child welfare system.

Host Families
Host families voluntarily take in vulnerable children for short periods of time. Host families serve as the backbone of this ministry and make a lasting impression on a child in need and possibly change the trajectory of a family in crisis. Our goal is to keep children safe and families intact!

Love Does
LOVE IN ACTION
Abundant Life is proud to partner with Love Does, an organization that provides necessities and resources to underserved women and children around the globe. Recently, the Love Does organization opened up a home here in San Diego to house single women and their babies to help them get back on their feet. They also provide diapers, wipes, groceries and other items to moms in need around the county through their Love Does Boutique. Abundant Life and Captivate Church have been able to support the Love Does boutique by donating diapers, wipes and shoes. We look forward to rallying around this organization and these moms more in the future.
