As Jesus followers, we are called to take new ground; not to dominate, be better than, or be in charge. It's not about us. We simply have a fire to saturate the city of San Diego with the message of Jesus. Our hope is that all of us would look more like Him at the end of these eight weeks.

In life it’s easy to feel small or insignificant in the grand story of eternity. But through Jesus we learn that He would’ve come and died to save even one person. Whether that was you, or your neighbor far from God, Jesus still would have gone to the cross. Because He has always had a heart for the one.

Some things in life leave us stunned, it's this sense of "awe" that captures the human heart. God created us for worship and our lives will only make sense when we find what our soul longs for, God himself.
