Sermon Series: "The Age of Anxiety"
Sundays at Captivate we are going through a series called, "The Age of Anxiety." This series is all about how we can wage war and fight back against anxiety, which is so prevalent in our society today. We will be going through biblical truths when it comes to anxiety and we hope to see people healed and set free!

Captivate Kids: Parents Night Out
Captivate Kids is hosting a "Parents Night Out" Event for ages preschool to 5th grade!
This event is designed to create a space for your children to be loved on and cared for while you get an evening to yourself. We pray that you will use this as an opportunity to spend quality time aligning your heart with God's love and Spirit.
We will provide pizza for dinner (please note any allergies/sensitivities in your registration and we will follow up about accommodations) followed by some outside play time. We will then break up into grade level appropriate groups and watch a spiritually enriching movie until you arrive to pick up your kids!
Drop off begins at 4:45 PM. Space will fill up FAST so please register ASAP!

Missions Sunday
On May 5th, we will be having a special Missions Sunday!
Our mission at Captivate is to End Spiritual Loneliness here in San Diego, but also beyond. We have an amazing Missions and Outreach team that partners with our global network of churches to End Spiritual Loneliness, not only in San Diego, but internationally in countries like Peru, Jamaica, and more!
This Sunday, we want to tell you more about all the work this amazing team is doing, share how you have been a huge support for them, and also take an offering to further support the work of our Missions team. We cannot wait to share more with you!

Join us for a special Mother's Day at Captivate!

Abundant Life Mother's Day Outreach
Our Abundant Life Ministry is partnering with CAPS, the pregnancy clinic that Captivate Supports, for a Mother's Day Outreach!
We will be collecting new, gender neutral baby items to give to new moms in their baby blessing baskets. Please bring your items to Captivate on Mother's Day to bless new single moms in crisis. Together, we can love on these moms and babies and show them that they are loved, seen and known!
Check out a list of gift basket items below:
• Baby bathtubs (this makes the best basket)
• Clothing sizes zero to 6 months
• Target, Walmart, Amazon gift cards
• Wash cloths, and towels
• Bibs, burp cloths, and socks
• Toiletry items: shampoo, wash and tool kits
• New children's books
•Infant toys, pacifiers, and rattles
NOTE: We cannot accept used car seats or cribs

Monday Nights at the Mission
Our Missions + Outreach team is partnering with the San Diego Rescue Mission for another "Monday Nights at the Mission"!
This is a local volunteer opportunity to support, love on, and spread the love of Jesus to underserved people in our community. On May 13th, the San Diego Rescue Mission is holding a, "Ladies Pampering & Men's Game Night".

Peru Missions Trip
We're making our first trip to Lima, Peru this Summer!
Our Missions + Outreach team will be partnering with Iglesia La Ciudad for their Serve Week in Miraflores & Manchay, Inner City and desert town outreaches.

Royal Family Kids
Our Abundant Life Ministry is partnering with other San Diego churches to put on a Royal Family Kids Camp from.
Royal Family KIDS Camp (RFK) seeks to create life-changing moments for children who have experienced relational trauma.
Through a 5-day camp, children have an opportunity to develop resiliency, self-esteem, hope and positive memories.
Please consider participating by serving during camp week.
Nov. 2
Serve the City
Serve the City is a one day event where we are partnering with nonprofits across San Diego to lift up the hurting in our city. We will be painting, cleaning, building, washing, feeding, playing, laughing and ultimately serving our city in the hopes of showing the love of Jesus and letting our city know that we love them and we are here to serve them.
